We live in a world where grassroots coordination efforts are a crucial aspect to find solutions to social dilemmas.
How can commitment to such coordination efforts be quantified? Despite the presence of dictionary-based approaches relying on social science models of collective action and network science approaches to explore the role of user groups in spreading activism, there is the need to further understand how commitment to action ground-truth can be extracted from social media messages.
